BACK TO THE BIRDS, THE NUTHATCH.

The Nuthatch is a bird of the woods and spends most of its life clinging to branches in tall trees, it does forage on rocks and on walls and will also often visit the ground. It is an agile and expert climber and can come down a branch or trunk of a tree head first it is the only british bird able to do this. Nuthatches use the strength of their feet and sharpness of their claws when climbing they don't use their tales as some species do such as the woodpeckers or treecreepers. I often get these live wires at my feeders where they are pretty agressive chasing the other birds off the food and even squabbling amongst each other.

This one made me laugh it's like someone's glued the leaf to it's head.
